Travel back in time to mid-20th century Mexico with this vintage necklace. Brilliant turquoise blue enamel leaves encircle the neck in a design that has classical influences, but which Mexican jewelry lovers will immediately recognize as being in the style of Margot de Taxco. While not by Margot herself, it has the weight and quality of her work and was most likely produced by one of her workers.
The necklace is 16″ long and constructed of heavy sterling silver. It is in very good condition with some minor signs of wear expected of a piece that was produced between 1948 and 1979.
